Capping off the yearlong BE HEARD campaign was a huge moment for Beats, and the 2017 NBA Finals presented the perfect opportunity to drive it home. But how to end it?
The Warriors — and the next-level MVP performance and redemption story of Kevin Durant in particular — inspired the idea to evolve the rallying cry from CHAMPIONS WILL BE HEARD to a final declaration: HEARD.
The videos, social, full-back-page ad in the San Francisco Chronicle, and outdoor wild poster campaign throughout Oakland served as a dramatic exclamation point (in 100-point heavyweight Knockout type) for the Beats by Dre BE HEARD campaign. We made versions for KD and also Draymond Green.
Props to Beats for being on the ball and ready to drop the videos, media buy, wild posters, and digital/social support the night of the Warriors resounding victory.
