After wrapping up another long-term contract at Beats by Dre / Apple last September, I worked with the creative team at Observatory (formerly CAA Marketing) to launch Drinkworks, the new kitchen-countertop cocktail-maker from Keurig and Anheuser-Busch/InBev. I got to help out with content for their beautiful new site and for their social channels. While there I also scripted out a case study for an amazing Bud China campaign from the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
In November and December I teamed up again with Stag & Hare on the first new campaign for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, which I also helped the agency rebrand earlier in the year.
Things always shut down in advertising over the holidays, so me and my wife took a weeklong escape to Mexico City, which is just as cool as our friends kept telling us it is.
So far in 2019 I’ve been working with Italian agency on some new broadcast spots, writing concepts, treatments, and scripts for commercials that will air in the U.S. for three new toys — two of which are for an iconic franchise loved by kids of all ages.
And I just worked with VIRTUE Worldwide (the creative agency for VICE Media) helping out on an exciting pitch. The whole experience was an absolute blast and I learned a lot from some very smart and creative folks.
